Christian Patzka started running track in middle school for Wisconsin Heights in Mazomanie, Wisconsin. He joined the cross country team in eighth grade and moved up from the 110m Hurdles to the Mile that same year. Christian gradually found success in the sport. This continued success culminated in 2019 when Christian won the WIAA D3 State Cross Country title. After Covid derailed his senior track season, he committed to the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater where he won six national titles. He won the Indoor 5000m in 2023 and 2024 as well as the 3000m Steeplechase in 2023 and 2024 along with the Outdoor 5000m. Christian won his last title in 2024 in Cross Country after spending most of that summer cross training.

Christian currently lives in his hometown and will move to the greater Twin Cities area in the summer of 2026. He specializes in the 1500m to the 5000m run with his main event being the 3000m Steeplechase.

Christian graduated in December 2025 from Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science in Education and majored in History Education. Christian is excited to give back to the running community and get invested with North Coast’s growing RUN NORTH youth programs.
